What about the others?

Mar 29, 2018, 2:35 PM

Guys, I understand that CJ and Jadar both played for our University and represented the school well during their different times here. And since they are very recent players I can see how this open wound would be very sensitive. But this isn't the first time former players have been in trouble with the law after they've left Clemson. Daquan Bowers, Jamie Harper, etc. Shoot everyone remembers Sammy Watkins and his run in with the law. It happens; they're young men who make mistakes.

The good news is that they are not current players and knock on wood, our current players do the right thing 99% of the time. Don't let this incident from a couple former players weigh down the excitement our program has built and continues to build.

ummm... armed robbery a bit different than getting caught with weed or accidently leaving a gun in your luggage..... don't you think ???

Remember it is against the law to rape a prostitute. Also to rob a drug dealer

well that took a dark turn

Ask OJ if the reason you robbed somebody counts. The judge

did not agree, and told him so. It may turn out different, but a bad look from the start.

The point is, these are young men who have run-in's with the law. Severity of the crime isn't the point of this post

"young men having run ins w the law" ? Not to beat this to death, but armed encounters wayyyy different. and yes - even if drug dealer was the "victim". For all we know, they were collecting ?? IF TRUE - these guys are thugs. Period

"Accidentally leaving a gun in your luggage". Really? What a naive comment

Naïve? The charges were dropped, I believe.

You do realize our judicial system is a joke right? Dropped charges are many times a result of someone getting paid a good deal of money to make the problem disappear

He checked his gun in at the counter in NY the same way you would do in any state that has common sense, but because he had a loaded magazine in the gun case (not even loaded in the gun itself) NY considered it a loaded weapon. To try and even say that’s it’s close to what Jadar and C.J. allegedly did is laughable.

NY gun laws are very strict
Even if you are traveling through and they find a legal gun in your car anywhere.
You going to jail
Much less in your bag at the airport.
If you are a visitor to NY better leave the guns at home.

Where’s the proof.

Say it ain’t so.
