1. The early part of the day, with Dr. Ford's testimony, was handled pretty well. Reasonable questions were asked, reasonable answers were given. Don't know why the second half of the day couldn't have been like that.
2. I like that Kavanaugh was passionate about the defense of his integrity. He should be.
3. Didn't watch, so I need to be careful here, but it seems from the parts I read about, Grassley was mostly fair and trying to conduct a decent hearing.
Dislikes:
1. Most disappointing thing of the day, by far, was Kavanaugh going political in his opening statement. This was just extremely disappointing to me, because a man who in the position he is to attain, should be above any hint of politics. The words "Republican" and "Democrat" should not be coming out of his mouth, period.
2. Why is Lindsey Graham yelling? He is supposed to be asking Kavanaugh questions to try to determine his guilt or innocence. Find a camera in the hallway if you want to throw a fit to drum up your voting base.
3. The second half of the day (Kavanaugh's half) should have been short and sweet. Let the prosecutor ask him questions, and he should just be answering "no" to all of them. Instead, this half is where all the political grandstanding took place.
4. The obsession with an FBI investigation comes off as just the next political move to delay the confirmation process. Either you believe the man or not. Vote based on that.
There is no rational logical argument against gathering

the facts and the evidence as best you can before having a vote.
The FBI could have completed the investigation by now or next week. The obsession with not investigating and gathering the facts and evidence by the "Federal Bureau of Investigation" is simply a political move to rush the confirmation process without fully vetting the nominee.
