Maybe so. They definitely want to attract interest,but let me ask this. When was the last time a pre-season favorite won the thing? It is often some guy who comes out of the blue imo.

The whole list is wacky imo. Hurts at OU is square peg, round hole. Like, has Lincoln ever seen that dude throw a football? Great kid, I believe that, but no. As for Fields, maybe he is legit. I know he looked great in 7 on 7, but have yet to see him play an actual passing down at Jawja. I will say this, if he is for real, Ryan Day will get a lot out of him. I think Day will be an excellent coach that does big things at that miserable school in Columbus. In fact, if Haskins had returned I would have put them #2 pre-season.

Watching his film his skill-set is elite. He's got an enormous amount of talent. I think OSU is a good fit and his numbers will look very good with Ryan Day, don't sleep on him just because he went to a mediocre offense that doesn't use their QBs.

The times I’ve seen him he appeared to have a strong arm but didn’t seem to have control of it. Maybe Day can teach that. We’ll see. I have my doubts but I’m just some guy on Tnet.

Had Trevor ever started a college game?
Had Tua ever started a college game?
Had Kyler Murray ever started a college game?
Had Dwayne Haskins every started a college game?
He has all the keys to be good and I think Day will do good with him. It's ok for someone to claim another player for a different team is good. He has a great build, strong arm, good runner but he's never been able to shine in an offense he fits so I think OSU will open him up quick or expose that he's in fact over rated.
