Proud of John Newman! That's a very tough spot to be in for a freshman at the end. Personally I thought Skara stepped up with his 3game. That helped so much in the absence of Mitchell hurt. Need more out of Trapp and Simms next game. Teams are keying on Thomas and Reed with double teams.

Newman didn't play particularly well....

in his short amount of playing time he had multiple turnovers and a couple of defensive mistakes...but he did make a couple of 3's and hit one of two ft's (his first of the year) at crunch time

we sure needed all the points he supplied
