Was ET and Ruke always recruited as DTs and not DEs?

I remembered watching their videos and thinking to myself that one of them looked like he'd be better fit for inside (dont recall which one i thought that about). But reason I ask is I dont recall that being mentioned during the recruiting process. I recall conversation about Cash potential move to inside but sounds like CBV still has him at DE.

Did we move ET and Ruke inside because we were thin at position or just better fit naturally?

Body measurements fit better. Raw talent that needs couple years and will be studs like what we always have up front.
