for many years, Tennessee came into SC and signed quality players, some of them all-time greats there.

I didn’t think vol nation was that cootish. They are losers!!! I guess it’s negative recruiting to point out how dismal the coaching and player development is at a has-been program that makes the worst coaching hires in the history of college football... and it’s a big surprise when players who committed to that has-been program flip to Clemson when they come here and see why we play for national championships... and why UT doesn’t.
At this point recruiting in this area is between us and UGA. Coots and UT are just too pathetic to be a factor.

Tennessee hasn't been relevant for more than a decade but they still view themselves as one of the top programs in the nation.

I love how many fan bases throw out the comment of "for some reason ______ went to Clemson" as if we are in the middle of the Bowden years and all of a sudden all the elite recruits decided to go to Clemson. I can't tell if they actually believe what they are saying or not. At least some will chime in on occasion and point out the wild success we've had as a good reason for kids to come here.

way to curb talent pooling? That's a laugh coming form a team that traditionaly oversigns by record margins.

After what happened in both playoff games yesterday, I fully expect the NCAA to begin taking up scholarship reductions as a way to throttle the concentration of talent. If there isn't some sense of parity, college football will not thrive.
