Very, very proud of the youngsters last night...

Went into one of the most hostile environs in the nation and gutted out a win. Credit A&M for giving us their best shot. They will win a lot this season and this victory will look a lot more impressive in November. And while it was a very close game, there is a lot of comfort in knowing we could beat their A+ game, at their home and in inclement weather, with our off game. These tigers are only going to get better. And credit our staff with, while not a flashy plan, the right plan. Underdogs have to take chances, favoreds shouldn't take chances. Don't get fancy, don't get cute, play to your strengths, and gut it out. You never know which way the ball will bounce but you always want to play with the odds rather than against them. Our guys get that, to the tune of 103-30 over the last decade. Here's to 104 next week. Go Tigers!
