that great results can come from prayer. My dad was told he had lung cancer in January 2018, went into the hospital twice, and on last day of February was told that is was misdiagnosed and was actually a resolving lung infection.
Just keep praying and even if the diagnosis holds true, know there are many many people winning their battles with cancer these days. Be strong and encouraging for them.

grateful to God and relief won out. The wait for actual tissue went into late February because he had had a heart attack two days after Christmas, about four days before the Sugar Bowl, and three weeks before the January 20 diagnosis. Because of that, they wanted to wait 8 weeks before going into the lungs for an actual tissue sample so the procedure would be less risky. Friends in the medical field kept telling us to hold hope if all they had was an X-ray and they were right. But for a month and eight days, the diagnosis was what his doctors were going on.
My dad was amazing. Doing everything he could to keep everything as normal as possible, he and my mom even stopping by Lowe's to pick up some items he needed on the way home from one of the worst scan readings of that situation. My sister's husband gave me the bad news and I called and called my parents thinking they were too devastated to answer the phone. Finally, he answered and said that they had stopped by Lowe's on the way home and that's why nobody answered the home phone. He never lost his sense of humor either, but respected the seriousness of the situation. We did a lot of praying.
But my message to anyone, maybe not fortunate enough to find that the diagnosis was wrong, is to just be strong, hopeful, positive, pray and have people pray for you. In 1984, my grandmother got lung cancer. She had part of a lung removed. She died in 2007, 23 years later, of a completely unrelated matter, at age 90. She did not die of cancer.
Prayer, Family, Friends, Hope, Caring Medical Personnel and a Fighting Spirit is a good recipe. Embrace Positive and Normalcy as much as possible also. Most of those ingredients you will find that you already have. That's a message I would give to people in that situation.
