Just viewed the CFP National Championship Game for the 4th time and one thing stands out above all else. Sure, TL is a phenom and should be the first Clemson Tiger to win the Heisman Trophy. Sure, our defensive secondary made dramatic improvements after the SC game and shut down the passing game of both ND and Bama. But the unsung heroes of both games are the offensive linemen of the Clemson Tigers. I'm not sure this was the best defense ever from an Alabama team. But their defensive line is pretty impressive. Yet not one sack on TL and very little pressure on him the whole game. That may be the single most impressive stat of the game. No matter now great an arm TL has, if he doesn't get time to see downfield, he won't be successful. Thankfully, he had plenty of time and ripped the vaunted Bama defense to shreds. Well done, Offensive Linemen; well done! Go Tigers!!!
