I respect that he has no taste for politics.

I think he had great conflict mixing politics with justice but his leaving probably prevented Trump from obstructing justice. In the end he took one for the boss' sake whether the boss knew it or not, imo.

I'm positive indictments are coming for the players in the collusion scheme but he should have better sense than set a time then repeat the promise when the previously promised time comes about.
Barr will investigate the subjects of the referrals to verify the charges then he will arrest the players. Four of the conspirators have rolled over. Lisa Page, Strzok and the Orrs. However, for the sake of Justice Dept case against other conspirators they will probably be indicted so the threat remains real to them. That will force them, if needs be, to repeat their previously given testimonies to congress.
McCabe, Comey, Brennen and Clapper may all find themselves in plea deals to stay out of jail and they may roll over on Lynch and perhaps even besmirch "Obama's good name.'
Such are the dreams...

Nunes is so FOS. History will paint him as the most ignorant ast-wipe, with his huge brown nose. (He's hoping to get into TheRump's mafia group.) In 2 years, Nunes will be run out of congress for his half-assed, and biased congressional investigations that he directed to keep TheRump in office.

OK, what if he's not lying about having the referrals...

ready to send to Justice but is waiting on Barr? Cause he had Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Lisa Page, both Orrs, Brennen, Hillary and a few others which may include Clapper and Loretta Lynch.
You're talking about knowing what's going on in a place you've refused to look for the last three years. Now you're in the process of working yourself out of the collusion delusion and you've forgotten to keep up.
These referrals will be sent to justice and Barr will investigate to verify the evidence Nunes presents then the other half of your world in going to come tumbling down.

This would have happened last year if Sessions hadn’t recused himself. He caused a nearly 2-year delay.
