Drip, drip, drip...

Every week there are more embarrassing stories coming out. Even with Swofford willing to help deflect and cover up with the NCAA, you get the feeling more bombshells are waiting to explode. Perhaps some more players with a smoking gun on Roy. They discredited McCants pretty easily, although his story seems very believable now. Drip, drip,drip...the worse is yet to come for the arrogant cheaters.

I must admit it makes me giddy every time a new ugly truth is revealed about "the Carolina Way."

Schadenfreude is pleasure derived from the misfortunes of others. This word is taken from German and literally means 'harm-joy.' It is the feeling of joy or pleasure when one sees another fail or suffer misfortune. It is also borrowed by some other languages.

puffed out its chest about how they do things better than everyone else...was one of outrage, anger and frustration that their beloved University wasn't educating the student athletes...I might feel some sympathy. But it's not. It's "Everyone does it". When you find out that the University that acted the most high-and-mighty is the most corrupt, and every stakeholder tries to hide from the light (administration, coaches, fans...everyone except for a few faculty members and a few players), there's no need for sympathy, in my opinion.
