T's & P's for grandson's fam.

Feb 23, 2019, 6:10 PM

they've put down their Shih Tzu this afternoon. About 3-6 mo. too late. Big for a Shih Tzu, SIL (the UVA dude) gave him to daughter before they married. I think it was a lock for him then. But the poor dog has been in decline from too long a list to recap. The decision to put a dog down is tough, especially the first time. Their crappy vet likes to do them at 5, scheduled a few days in advance... We've always done it first thing the day we decide it's time, and our wonderful vet accommodates us. Whatever. Anyways, our lil first grader Charlie may have a tough time. Mrs No and Clemson daughter went to baby sit while the deed is done. RIP, Scruffy.

Best to Charlie, poor guy.

An odd juxtaposition of breeds, I’ve had shih tzus and labs most of my life, breaks the heart to send the little fuzzy ones home.

we've had goldens and labs, plus 2 lil dogs.

Mrs No had more grief from the first lil dog we had, a peek-a-poo, than any other.

They need to change vets.

Ours has always accommodated us when we made the decision usually with them while we were there seeing if anything could be done.

RIP Scruffy
