That’s the problem w these smaller breweries...

May 11, 2019, 5:35 PM

“When it’s a good batch”

Sierra literally has a lab and chemist that test every batch at all different levels of production to exude quality consistency. You can hate all you want about a big brewery like that but their beer is scientifically superior and consistent.

2024 purple level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

umm, I mean even their off batch of something is better...

May 11, 2019, 5:38 PM

than most any breweries best lol.

Tree House experiments with about every beer they make, and that is what makes them one of the best.

True Scientists of beer.

2024 purple level memberbadge-donor-15yr.jpgringofhonor-beeksteak-110.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

True scientist of brewing wouldn’t release sub par batches.

May 11, 2019, 5:48 PM

Just saying.

2024 purple level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

sub par for them is way above...

May 11, 2019, 5:51 PM

any brewery you relating your statement to. lol

2024 purple level memberbadge-donor-15yr.jpgringofhonor-beeksteak-110.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I understand your bias but you’re wrong.***

2024 purple level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

No i'm not.

May 11, 2019, 6:05 PM

A good brewery has nice staples that remain constant, tree house does that. They also make different versions of those to experiment, and sell more beer.

it doesn't take a scientist to mass produce swill.

2024 purple level memberbadge-donor-15yr.jpgringofhonor-beeksteak-110.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I’m not talking about bud light... so Sierra Nevada makes swill?

May 11, 2019, 6:09 PM

Just stop with you big brewery bias. Just cause you don’t like drinking a beer from a large brewery doesn’t mean it’s swill. Their technology, chemist, labs, everything is far superior to any other craft brewery. You don’t have to like it but its not swill.

2024 purple level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

It's crap, not sure why anyone would buy it.***

2024 purple level memberbadge-donor-15yr.jpgringofhonor-beeksteak-110.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yea, #1 craft beer in entire country.

May 11, 2019, 6:14 PM

Family owned. Completely environmentally sound. Helps the community. And makes their beer spot on.

I went there this weekend and made a double Hazy IPA with 3 different types of experimental hops and honey malt, plus some popular hops, added 20 pounds of hop keef. All on computer monitors and in a lab with brewmasters.

But sorry, you do know everything about beer so I’ll just stop talking....

2024 purple level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

There's nothing "crafty" about Sierra Nevada anymore.***

he's got confused between what is art and what science.

May 11, 2019, 6:20 PM

he prefers science. I prefer art.

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Thats a fair statement OSF.

May 11, 2019, 6:29 PM

This all started bc he said “when it’s a good batch” I’m not arguing that small breweries don’t make great beer, I have several of them in the portfolio, I was just illustrating other aspects of the industry for superior breweries that have better equipment and technology.

2024 purple level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

thing is.. good batch could be personal preference.

May 11, 2019, 6:37 PM

Not good made beer versus badly made beer.
Could be just one hop or a yeast strain that a person doesn't like.

And money doesn't mean superior beer it means more money... maybe more investors maybe they were rich Lawyers like some in SC...

I have a temp control room with lab equip for yeast counting and etc... does that make my homebrew better than others?

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yeah, drink what you like.

May 11, 2019, 6:39 PM
