I think what he meant was we were cycling out of mediocrity....completely. and they were cycling back in to mediocrity since the rise and fall of the Ol ball sac era. At least thats how i have interpreted it

They were so proud that in 15/16 season when they only lost by 5 to us and then again this year when they scored 35 and lost by 21
