football wise appearing in the Belk Bowl, Independence or other lower tier bowl game. Kind of like the ones the coots appear in regularly.
Clemson men's basketball has a lot of similarities to the chicken's football success. That's not a good place to be. We should expect more than that from our basketball coach.

The Belk Bowl may not be a New Year's Bowl, but it isn't a bad place to be (except the years it is 40 and raining). At least we have all the comforts of home in the first round(s) of the NIT.

Apples to oranges to me. Roughly 67% of FBS make a bowl game. All you have to have is a .500 record. 28.8% of basketball teams make the NCAA and NIT combined and you typically have to be well above .500 to have a chance of making it.

Other than it being meaningless and just an exhibition at best. If I were a senior with pro aspirations I wouldn't even risk the injury.

fun to watch. The year we got beat at the buzzer by Cal in the NIT championship. I was on the edge of my seat jumping up and down like it was the final four. I guess if you're a Clemson fan it makes a difference.
