worst places to eat in Clemson and surrounding areas?

I have to say that TDs food is pretty dire. They dont care cause they make money off of the bar but I have had more than a few bad food experiences there.

I really like the food at TDs. Their meat and three is pretty good. If you are looking for bad food, BGR is your place.

I was devastated when I saw that Ancheaux's moved out and BGR moved in. My burger was pretty darn tasty, but the sweet tea was average.
On the other hand, Ancheaux's was my favorite place to eat downtown. I might have cried a little that day.

to eat at Ancheaux's all the time when we were students. We absolutely loved that place. I'm with you, it was a sad day when they closed down.

I don't think I have ever had a meal, in Clemson, that I would give a high mark. It's a college town and IMHO no really good eateries.

Agreed 100%. Super Taco was decent Mexican but that was arguably the most quality food there was in Clemson with the exception of Pixie & Bills and Calhoun Corners.
Clemson is just a little college town, so it's not really bad for its size....but it just doesn't have much in the way of great food.

Todaros has great NY pizza if you're into that. You're clearly not eating at the right places. Clemson has some great restaurants.

Osaka. The food is just ok, but the service is some of the worst I've ever experienced. Also I'm not sure if you're into Long John's or KFC, but that little combo unit is absolutely terrible. I don't understand the hate for BGR though. I always get the greek burger, and it's great.

last week. My chicken was good but the broccoli tasted like citrus (lemon pepper???) and was terrible. The wife`s burrito was filled with what looked and tasted like Hormel chilli. BAD!

I would say Mac's had a reputation for having the unhealthiest food. (when I lived in Clemson)
It was considered a landmark though, and some traditions don't die very easily...
