one that was clearly stolen from Ted Giannoulos (The San Diego Chicken). I believe the only reason Giannoulos doesn't sue usuck is that he doesn't want any publicity connecting him with something so lame.
Many years ago, the Stanford student population was allowed to vote on a new mascot when the old "Indian" mascot fell into disfavor. I was told "Aardvarks" was an overwhelming victor, but the President of the University declined to allow it to be the official university mascot...so the color of Stanford's unis was selected.
Aardvarks would be better than that stupid fire extinguisher fog-horn leghorn pullet.
