ALABAMA

After watching Bama and Coot game I’m convinced that Bama took a step backwards on Defense. I think LSU will beat them TA&M and Auburn give them very close games. I’m sure a more knowledgeable football junkie will have a different view than I do.

Auburn doesn't have a QB, they will be exposed greatly by Alabama if someone doesn't beat them to it.

Auburn's freshman QB could be exposed at A&M this Saturday.

I'm not more knowledgeable, but I think like you; they may have lost a step. However, they are still the team to beat in the SEC, and even though aTm and Auburn are away, LSU is at home.

Difficult to evaluate the game Saturday with the u of S.C. not having their Heisman QB in the game!

I think it's fair to say...

that the play of Bama's defense on Saturday was not very impressive.
Considering the opponent, perhaps they knew they could take the day off, get rested, and still win comfortably.
Short of significant improvement, college football fans won't have to worry about a Clemson/Bama Part V in the national championship game because Alabama won't be there.
If that's the defense that shows-up, Bama will lose to Georgia, LSU and A&M.

It reminded me a little of the A&M game...

in that one team was totally out-matched and the other scored a meaningless TD as time was expiring to make the outcome look somewhat more respectable than it actually was.

Agree. They prolly rested up against the Chickens, like we did last year. Get a good margin and just chill. I imagine the Chickens get a lot of that. ??

You are probably right but it will be too late by then. They will likely have 2 loses by December. I doubt the rest of the SEC tackle as badly as usuck so their receivers will not be running wild in the secondary.

I thought Bama looked substantially weaker on OL, defense and in the run game. They still have Tua and Jeudy and plenty of skill position guys, but they are overall not as strong as they were this time last year.

have figured out cloning, because they always have what looks like the same big power back.
TJ Yeldon Eddie Lacy Trent Richardson Derrick Henry Bo Scarbrough
and now, Najee Harris. The only recent one who didn't look like the same guy was Mark Ingram.
