How accurate is the FPI created by ESPN(SEC)

2018 FPI Preseason Rankings vs AP End of Year Poll

(8 teams pretty good guessing but you have to take two gimmes away for Clemson and Bama)
3 teams right (Clemson and Alabama which a blind squirrel could have gotten right)
3 teams missed by 1 spot
1 team missed by 2 spots
1 team missed by 3 spots

(4 teams average guessing)
2 teams missed by 4 spots
2 teams missed by 5 spots

(13 teams missed on very bad)
2 teams missed by 8 spots
2 teams missed by 9 spots
3 teams missed by more than 10 spots off if ranked at start of year
6 teams whiffed on

I think throwing darts at names of teams could have done this well.
