Here are some shirts printed for the firefighters and all money raised from the shirts will go to the firefighters. Check them out and help us share this worthy cause https://ttg-custom.myshopify.com/products/pinnacle-mountain-fire?b5a02773-28e1-8faf-cd29-af7db8b95bb0

Hasn't it rained almost 4 inches in the last week or so?

Not trying to belittle their efforts but that kind of rain fall is a huge help.

I took a long motorcycle ride up to Lake Lure, etc about 2 weeks ago, and firemen from all over were everywhere. Some roads were blocked off for me, but from what I could tell, the firemen & patrolmen were doing a fine job. I can only speak for what I saw, but I was impressed. There was no rain in sight at that time. If I had a house in that area, I would have to salute those guys every time I saw one. Awesome IMO.

Those people have been bustin' their humps for 2 months

DamB straight the rain helped, but what WAS your point?

(other than to belittle their efforts... smdh)

Whatever choice(s) you make makes you. Choose wisely.

need to belittle their tremendous efforts to save lives and property!

They had the fire contained around 65% before the rain

And yes the rain helped a great deal, but without firefighters from all over the US this thing would have done way more damage. I'm taking it that you didn't see the upstate blanketed in smoke for nearly two weeks. We went nearly 70 days without rain so there was a lot of fuel to make it burn hot and fast. The tone of your post may come off as a little smarmy but my assessment is you are just unaware of how bad it was

Can you buy them in the store? Don't wanna pay $6.50 to ship a $15 shirt to my house 2 miles from your store and 1 mile from the warehouse at lowe's!

Buying them from the warehouse would help locals
