The combined CFP teams have a 51-1 record. Amazing.

Say what you want, but that's about as close to perfect as you can get. I know UCF was 13-0, but maybe if they beat LSU in the bowl game like they beat Auburn last year, then next year might be a better year for their chances of making the CFP. At some point, they deserve a shot just to see how they match up.

If you remove the losses from playing each other (since the numbers above have no losses yet from playing each other):
The senior classes from Clemson & Alabama are a combined 107-4. * Clemson 53-4 minus 2 losses to Bama = 53-2 * Bama 54-3 minus 1 loss to Clemson = 54-2
In addition, to winning the last 3 NCs and being the #1 & #2 seeds for this year's Natty, they have also combined to ranked #1 in 26 of the last 28 CFP rankings. And, in 15 of those, they are ranked both #1 & #2.
To me, those numbers are even crazier because it is over a longer period of time, and encompasses dominating traditional powers like Ohio State, Oklahoma, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, etc.
