We were promised scoffers and doubters. It just gives credibility to the written Word.
I expect the lost to take offense when the Gospel is mentioned. If we whine and complain about Bible truths being fulfilled where does that leave us? Who are we?

Why would that be shocking, Jesus sad the world would despise him, remember they crucified him, so this shouldn't come as a shocker
