Terrible offensive day BUT

Still won by 35 over a P5 conference opponent. We left a TON of meat on the bone today but still managed to completely blow out Cuse. I predicted we’d win 42-13 so not half bad to do better and not even play close to our best game. GO TIGERS!!!!

And average isn't Clemson. But as the second half went on they seemed to find their grove. So hopefully they will continue to grow and be the offense we know they can be. But unfortunately, I don't think Trevor is in the conversation for Heisman anymore. Oh well, maybe next year. I'm hoping by time they go to Chapel Hill, the offense will be running like a fine tuned engine.

I’d have to rewatch the game but the countless number of overthrown TD passes that Trevor missed the TD that was called back due to a hold and heck even chase overthrew a TD pass to Powell. All I’m saying is we by far didn’t play our best offensive game and we still managed to hang 41 and put up over 600 yards.

Oooo and Powell dropped one in the end zone too. You’d have to be blind if you thought we didn’t have an off day on the offensive Side of the ball. Yes we have all the stats and points but we left a TON on the field. Oooo a missed fg too. I know we aren’t going to be perfect and no team will be and I know we won’t score every drive BUT we could’ve EASILY scored 21 or more points and put up over 100 more yards with the missed throws and catches.

couple of drops, TD called back on a hold. I mean we could have scored 60 today. But all of this is correctable.
