likely to eventually succeed Dabo as our head coach.
I envision it in about 10 to 15 years when Bama has collapsed and they come to Dabo to rescue them. (collapsed = 9-3 seasons and few losses in a row to Auburn)

Psst. Dabo is not going to Alabama. Now, or later.

I do think Elliott will take a HC job in the next few years and I believe Jeff Scott will succeed Dabo if Dabo decides to take early retirement. Dabo ain't going to Alabama.

believe Venables doesn't want the headache of being a HC. He might would take this job, though, because of the comfort level and support staff.

gets offered a job he wants.
BV is Dabo's Mickey Andrews/Bud Foster
All 3 of Dabo's sons will graduate Clemson, Dabo's home till he retires.
Jeff Scott, Loves Clemson, saw what happened to his Father leaving FSU and, in my opinion will stay at Clemson. Besides, Grandpa, Brad, has already said the Grand Daughter isn't leaving town LOL
When TE leaves,JS and BS are bumped up and Willie Korn is brought back .

Bring in Charlie Whitehurst, maybe he'd consider cutting the locks.

Life must be grand when a coach is getting ready to go for the national championship and message boards have scoped out his retirement, departure, retirement; his replacement and his replacement's replacement ... there's a reason coaches brush aside such stuff. It would consume their time otherwise.

Well, the narrative from the chickens started as "Dabo is a doofus cheerleader". Once we started pounding them again, it was "he is a doofus cheerleader who has good assistants."
Has it changed? Lord knows, I can't keep up with that chicken claptrap. ??

He was one of my favorites as a player. At one point in his senior season, ESPN did a story on our receivers and they wanted to interview our three stars together (I think it was Youngblood, Hamilton and McKelvey). They refused unless Elliot was included. Such was their respect for him as the leader. We are lucky to have him here.

Personally not concerned about what might happen down the line...love these coaches while we have em. Just looking forward to what they’re putting on the field THIS season and recruiting for continued success. Trust Dabo inc. to keep the machine rolling by keeping coaches happy and bringing in quality replacements as needed. Any young coach would jump at the chance to come to Clemson and work with such a elite staff/program. Go Tigers
