Tony I don't think Chip Patterson is the one who sets the expectation for these young men. They've already been told how good they are but the coaches will keep it real with them and they'll continue to work. Can't control what the media says, then again they are trying to just make a headline (and was successful in doing that here).

There could be more than four. He's obviously just talking about the starters XT is going to be a dude sooner than later and there are a bunch of other studs.

You could not be more right. The difference between this year and last year is depth. We will not have to ask our starters to play 80% of the snaps. We will be better able to keep an already talented line fresh for the 4th QTR (if needed). This will also help keep them fresh for the end of the year as well.

McShay a few years back said all talent was on the ND side when we were facing them during the hurricane. And everyone on TNet bitched and moaned because OMG McShaaaaaaaay! And TNet ran continual "stories" about this slight and disrespect.

And now the opposite happens and we are crowned with four pro bowlers on the line - and yet once again TNet (or at least Crump) has an issue - this time with too much respect.

A neurotic bunch.
