Suddenly I am interested in the Preakness

Couldn’t have named a horse in the Derby if you had asked me this AM, but now will be pulling for Maximum Security with all I’ve got. Unfortunate situation.

Builds a lot of intrigue into the final two legs of the Triple Crown, though.

He cost my horse the W! Lol. He did kind of block Code of Honor who I picked but I think it is BS that they took the W from him. Max Sercurity earned it imo.

Forget for a moment the money the owners of Maximum Security lost today, it would not surprise me if they just pulled the horse. There have been a couple of times in previous years that the favorite lost and they didn't run the Preakness.
Either way, the Preakness is screwed because the odds of 65-1 longshot pulling off the Triple probably won't happen.
But hey don't bet against it either.

The track was a wet as it can be. Thankfully no one was hurt. Taking all that in to account, I can't see the disqualification. Not happy with this outcome.

Omaha Beach, the horse that was scratched Wednesday, was favored to win. Had to scratch due to breathing problems. If Omaha Beach is able to run, the Preakness will be very interesting.
