He isn't Tommy...he is Cutcliffe. A very good coach at a non-sport school (that does not BUY players like loserville). We'll beat everyone but the "elite" programs at a weaker program.

Brownell is 159–119 and 67–76 in the ACC. Cutcliff is 67–72 at Duke.

Here is the problem... any Clemson coach that goes 25-5 and can win consistently is going to go elsewhere. We can win that armsrace when other 7-8 other programs will outbid us with fan support, $$$ and facilities. We just need to continue developing our program and I do think Brownell is good for that because realistically... how many coaches can keep it near .500 in the ACC? Purnell was good for an upset but at the same time would drop to GT or Wake for their only conference win of the season.

I think this year is the first year that I have not seen Brownell coach up the talent... it is just even keel for where the talent is, especially without a 3pt threat. It is a deeply flawed team that, could realistically be a 5-10 win team.

After next year I'd like to bring back Earl Grant who is doing a great job at CofC. Also the Coach at Nevada, and the coach at Bufalo.
