He is doing the right thing. He is working a job he loves and is make 2.5 million per year for his family. If I were him I would stay as long as possible.

My understanding is TDP originally accepted the job of Clemson AD only because he already knew that Bowden would eventually hire Dabo who would eventually be ready to be head coach and Bowden would eventually step down during the middle of a season so that Dabo could begin his dynasty.

No, because Tommy saw something in Dabo. Now IF Brad has someone he feels like could lead the program, then its time for him to do the right thing.
