What in the world is going on in the world of college sports (and all sports)?
Are we crazy or what to pay doctors, ministers, national leaders, teachers & you name them a pentance of these & many FB coaches $5,000,000- $9,000,000 salaries PER Year..
over our insatiable desire to win or be entertained 12-15 times a year!
I don't get it but I'm a big part if it but don't know how to break the habit.
Really sad since things are out of wack job salary-wage wise but the Romans loved their sports & stadiums too but it all ended pretty badly due to..(you name it).

Actually, I thought I saw earlier that JimBo's buy-out is $60,000,000.00(?) Makes sense, I suppose.

Jimbo's 10 year $75 million deal is guaranteed. He's been paid about $15 million so far so they still owe him around $60 million whether he stays or goes.

we better get rid of Dabo while we can.....
honestly, I'm not only with you, but I've been here awhile. successful football coaches work their ##### off year round. I font see how any of them keep their health, much less their family. Dabo is, in my eyes, a great role model. but is anyone who has a job (as opposed to creating a very successful company) really worth that much? I have my doubts.

Supply and demand. Generate revenue, get paid. You know...economics.
By the way, it would cost way more than $5,000,000 to buy out Dabo. I believe the contract is fully guaranteed, so any buyout would have to be negotiated...not that'd we'll ever need to do that.
