One of these will play for a national championship soon.
If FSU ever had a chance...this might be it.
I'm a little concerned that the 'blue bloods' might get friendly whistles tomorrow night. I'm sure the networks will be wanting the Duke-Kansas matchup

Duke's up against the wrong style of play to get a lot of the calls. And, if Duke uses a zone, too, the game will be slow. S.L.O.W. I doubt Duke goes zone exclusively, though...'Cuse doesn't have the talent, by and large.
Then again, neither did UMBC, Loyola, Kansas State, FSU...and the beat goes on.

Duke won 60 - 44.
The key difference: the Blue Devils could pound the ball inside to Bagley (19 points) and Carter (16 points).
Dukes zone defense forced 17 Cuse turnovers.

Did I pick a winner? I don't believe so...nor suggested one. I simply commented on the number of calls to be expected by a non-ACC officiating crew.  Not to take anything away from BigCUFan, whatsoever...as we weren't saying the same thing.

That game was at Cameron though, it won't be as easy on a neutral court.
That being said, I think Duke still wins due to what you pointed out; Bagley and Carter inside will dominate. Cuse doesn't have talent, or depth, down low.

How great would a Clemson-FSU championship game be? It'd not only p*ss off the Coots and SEC homers, but the ACC blue bloods too. I hope KSU or Loyola makes it, though.
Just realized we could also potentially have a Kansas-Kansas St. final.

Im sure they will get a decent whistle. Its a tired act to go around and complain about officials but they dictate games in basketball way more so that any other sport. I really enjoy basketball but that will always keep the sport down...don't even get me started on the block/charge, worst rule in sports.

Is consistency. I hate watching these games where they let the guys play then start blowing the whistle to get the game under control, second half is called completely different from the first half, ticky-tack touch fouls 30ft away from the basket while guys are getting murdered under the basket
