What are we likely to do? Duke is always tough and it seems I remember some tough games in Tally against their trees, Wake? The rest look winnable on paper, but I know that doesn’t mean we don’t drop one.

What say the TNet braintrust?

Not part of the brain trust , but if we continue to shoot as well and limit the turnovers , we could go maybe 7-1 .

Also we have to keep Thomas from foul trouble, and continue to have everyone going after rebounds .

We've got talented guard play with experience . The young guys like Sims, William , and Trapp will be big contributors if we are to win 6 or 7 more regular season .

That could make for an interesting tournament or two .

and now coupled with Donnal's injury that has to be given time to heal, its forcing extended playing time to Aamir and Malik and.....Clyde's finding some minutes in there as well. The Tigers record is such that, barring a total collapse, they're going to have a shot at the double-bye in the ACC Tournament---and should that occur--probably a decent seeding for March Madness......And by that time, all those guys should be more comfortable on the floor and will be seeing their opponents in the ACCT for the second or third time. And thats a good thing. Its great watching them contribute on both ends of the floor as their confidence grows.....and Coach Brownell's growing more confident in his bench

I wouldn't count myself in any sort of braintrust...just stating the obvious

This UNC win doesn't change my thoughts on the rest of the year, I think 5-3 is where we land for the last 8. We may be favored in a bunch of these matchups but games @VT, and @Syracuse will be tough games and Duke has a ridiculous amount of talent this year. That would be 23-7, which would be awesome!

As tough as we have had all season IMO. Anywhere from 3-5 to 7-1 is possible. Duke will be our toughest home game all year. @VT and @Syracuse who is playing better will be tough especially with both teams trying to chase bids themselves. FSU is capable of sweeping us- they always create problems with us w their size. We really need to grab the WF, Pitt and GT games as the rest could go to the wire. The last 2 have been enormous as they proved we can win without Dante and they also ensure 10 conf wins if we can take care of the 3 I mentioned. 10 gets us in without question. I'll start worrying about seeding if we can get past 10.
