Shotgun Alley parking question for 2019 football season

Mar 6, 2019, 4:43 PM

Do any of y'all have any experience tailgating/parking on Shotgun Alley? When I look at the photo on the IPTAY interactive parking map, it appears that there are some very low hanging, very large tree limbs on the right side looking in the direction of traffic. I have a fairly new Ford F-150 and don't want to get my truck scraped by tree limbs pulling in/out, or from limbs blowing in the wind/breeze. If I lived in the Clemson area, I would drive by and take a look, but I live an 8.5 hour drive away. P.S.- As an aside, my plan is to have my Clemson themed 4-wheel quadracycle surrey bike with me. See my icon photo.

I haven't parked there, but walk through it pretty often to see a friend. I haven't noticed any issues...if I remember correctly, the south side drops off and the north side has a pretty steep incline.

Parking should not be an issue
using Methane Gas to power your bike
could be just turn the radio volume up

Shotgun Alley is Nu St. Just use Google Streetview to stroll down it. Usually, the Centennial Blvd end is closed off to all but pedestrian traffic. The other end of Nu St enters Williamson road on a VERY steep hill. Not sure where you plan on peddling that bike, but I hope you have a low gear and good brakes in Clemson.

Thanks for the input. Both pedal stations have independent 7-speed gearing. The brake control is a hand lever on the right side of the steering column which operates the brakes on both rear wheels. It even has rack & pinion steering. I will probably pedal around the west end of Shotgun Alley, Lot 5 and Lot 6.
