He didn’t turn his head and was all over Tee. That should have been a penalty.

He's still all over one of the best receivers in the country

Apr 6, 2019, 3:19 PM

as a 17-18 year old.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

he definitely has some things to improve on but he was in

Perfect position to make the play against a fast wr and a pretty well thrown ball. I like the kid.

That’s exactly why he’s our there. It’s Spring... Enjoy with less negativity ??

The kid is gonna be an all American. He was the number 1 rated cb as a jr, but he reclassified as a sr and was still rated super high.

Putting him on an island as a freshman against one of the best college receivers and he’s holding his own no doubt.

**Also Justin Foster gonna make a name for himself.

Welp I’m excited! Jones gonna see a lot of playing time this year.

Also looks like AJ continued on from his hot streak at end of last year and has taken next step to become a true lockdown.

Throw in DK and it will be tough to throw on us.

Booth is absolutely going to play as well.

Teams are going to have a hard time passing on this defense, maybe they'll get some underneath stuff against the LBers but even that unit should be as stout against the pass as they were last season at least.

I'd imagine the interior run defense won't be as good and teams will try to run it on us to shorten the game some but if your strategy is to outscore us by running it up the A gap...good luck.

Wow your right, I can’t belive I forgot about Booth! His film is just nasty, wish he could have been an EE. He will certainly have his chance to get out on the field.

Agreed about defense line, I just can not see them being AS dominant as what we have been blessed with last few years. I do think they will be really really good as they gel.

I think they LBs will have a chance to be even better as well as the safeties this year. This is why there is nothing like College Football!!

I think the line will be different but not necessarily worse. The edge play might be about the same or maybe even a hair better going all the way down the line. After Ferrel and Bryant our depth there was so young last year that with another year of development we could get a lot of production from those guys. The interior talent and depth feels like it has to take a step back though even if it is just a small one.

Pass rush will be as good enough not better. Run stopping will be a question
