He is an 18 Y/O kid that f'd up. He will learn and grow from it. Considering where he came from this is pretty tame. I dare say a great majority of you that might feel compelled to throw stones at Sammy need to look at yourselves first.
Once we know all of the facts and if Sammy is guilty, then he needs to be disciplined. The punishment needs to be consistent with what has been done in the past because whatever is done to Sammy will have a precedent for the future.
I have no doubt that we will handle this a heck of a lot better than USC would.
I just wished we knew the names of the police so we could thank them for making the campus of Clemson a drug-free place for our future leaders to prosper.

You're joking right about the drug free place and future leaders to prosper! Alcohol is legal but does for more damage to our society then weed which is for some reason illegal.

I'll be the first to admit that I literally smoked weed every single day that I was in college. Do I think I would have received better grades had I not done so, I probably would have. I don't regret what I did. I met a lot of great people and had a good time. However, I knew when to buckle down and study my @ss off when test time came around. Yes pot is illegal. Should it be? I don't think so, but right now that is the law. I knew that if I got caught on campus with it, there would be hell to pay. I made the conscience decision to take that risk. Sammy also decided to take that risk. He must now pay the piper for it.
Do I think he should ride the bench for the Auburn game? Absolutely. Do I think we should deride him for being a young stupid kid? Absolutely not.
He'll learn from this and come out on the other side a better man and possibly this will keep him from actually doing something stupid later in his career.
GO TIGERS!!!
