SCAR simply cannot fire Mudbutt

For numerous reasons. The HUGE buyout is just one. The other is harder for them to face. The fact is that Willy Mudbutt was not their first choice...or second... or even third. Nobody wanted that job. And it's less attractive now than it was when he got it.
So I suspect he'll be there a little longer....then they'll panic and fire him....and get someone else who isnt very good.
It's a great time to be a Tiger. And Dabo says we're just getting started.

Every time I hear that idiot's voice, I think, WOW, they suck all over the place, and they don't mind broadcasting it. We are blessed to have a whipping post like the dirt peckers.

We have lived through lots of chicken "cooking lessons". There are many yet to come. As a line in an old movie said, "Him dead, and him not even know it".

I recommend they hire Todd "Cycling In" Ellis as head Coach and bring back King "I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired" Dixon as AD.
As for finding enough money to payoff Muschamp, have those die-hard fans who want him gone to ante up.

Ellis might actually be a good choice for the Coots . He's not encumbered by clear thinking and accurately assessing known qualities . In fact , he's so wrong so often he'd probably come cycling into his 1st official presser on an orange bicycle .

I think every Clemson fan ought to give $10 to the Gamecock club in order to keep Mudbutt at South Carolina for another 10 years.

maybe. but cant blame the AD fir the Muschamp hire. No one else wanted the job. funny thing is, they spent money on facilities upgrades that might have gone to replacing muschamp.
maybe Darla Moore will cough up some dough to get them out of the rut.

actually you can blame the AD

the AD is the reason nobody else wanted the job. The AD is inept and cannot help the program grow. The University itself is a dumpster fire, but the AD is not there to bridge the gap. Coaches interviewed with him and said no way do I want to work for this idiot.

I heard the new president at UofSC

On the radio Saturday and he sounded like a down to earth guy, not like the elitists they have been known for. He came from West Point. He sounded interested in the football program and when asked about UNC game he even said he wanted to Beat Clemson too! He's got a lot of work to do but I don't think he will settle for where they are for long. He does have to establish himself first so it probably won't be this year unless they completely tank. Which is a possibility!

At a smaller school looking for a hc job anywhere.
There always is. It would be more about what other hc jobs open up.

Actually it is a great job for any coach that wants to move into a position where he can make enough to retire in 4 years, have huge expectations, but not really have to deliver, and if they don't want to retire just go get another coordinator's job for about 500k and put that dump out of your memory.
