If true he just lost his eligibility and OSU may be at risk for a post season ban and/or vacated wins.

I will wait for that to be confirmed, but yeah... it could completely tank OSU's wins/postseason... depending on how they fight it.

If so, I really hope the NCAA doesn't vacate their 0-31 Fiesta Bowl loss in 2016.

Chase Young cant afford simple living expenses (with a stipend) but can afford an attorney? Interesting.

LOL at the massive deflection by Young's attorney

In Young’s defense, he probably didn’t know his “close family friend” was an agent, since he’d never seen, met or heard of him, before he took money from him.

All the family friends in the world, this just happens to be an Agent. Totally random. Nothing to see here.

The odds of a random family having a friend that is a NFLPA-certified agent are quite low. There are approximately 850 NFLPA-certified Agents and 327 Million people in the US.

Welp.....if true you've seen the last of chase young in a osu uniform.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Possibly, but the bigger questions becomes...

Nov 8, 2019, 2:58 PM

does O31O State now have to forfeit all games in which Young participated as an ineligible player which would include all nine games played thus far in 2019.

The story is not going to be that 031O State and Young should have known better. The spin will be that this is just further justification for compensating college players.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Re: Possibly, but the bigger questions becomes...

Nov 8, 2019, 7:52 PM

"Compensating college players"...beyond the $15K-level stipend that CW42 had accumulated before leaving Clemson.

Some of these Young men just need to learn to need less in 'living expenses'.

Re: Report:

Judging by the NCAA's corrupt & broken justice system since it's The Ohio State, the NCAA will declare him eligible the week of the Michigan game. The #### they let UNC get away with proves how they will cave to their favored teams, and upstarts like Memphis will always keep getting hammered, they have 2 of their finals appearances vacated for "violations", they took away scholarships from Boise State, because a few recruits got meals at McDonald's, I think amounted to about 70 bucks. If that were BAMA, they wouldn't do ####, that's why they kept putting us on probation back in the day and they let other more established programs get awaywith stuff that was much worse, they were trying to keep our program down, and now that we have gotten so big they are forced to accept us into their club, but they do so grudgingly, and they pull #### like the CFP rankings to embarass us & try make us look bad. Well #### the NCAA, they need to go ##### themselves, they are nothing more than corrupt dictators who spend most of their time at their local country clubs.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I see numerous reports refuting this

Nov 9, 2019, 6:58 AM

Not sure its true.
