And buyout?

This story is so old - the oh so close losses and the late season fades. I’ve seen it posted on Tnet a hundred times buy this is SO similar to the Bowden era of football it’s not funny.

The key thing is the buyout. It's about $1.3 million this year. Only aroun $500k next season...

I do see CBB lasting at Clemson unless he can somehow recruit enough transfers to enhance his returning talent to have a decent team after this disappointing campaign. Frankly he needs to find enough job or expect to be reassigned.

He has one more year to get his act together or DRad should expect to hear loudly from frustrated fans after few bright spots in a decade of coming up short.

Correction: I do not expect CBB to last. He needs to search for another job after next season at the latest.

Next year is setting up as a hot seat campaign. I don’t see anything on the bench to get hopeful for more than 12-13 wins. If the buyout drops to $500k then DRad must make the move because recruiting is only going to suffer more after next year in my view. I like Coach Brownell but this program should be on more stable ground after the facilities and staff support improvements. He’s just not getting it done.
