I don't know much about fishing but two things popped into my head when looking at your pictures:

1) Those fish seem really small. I think I would have thrown them back.

2) I'm not sure I would eat any fish that you caught with those rusty hooks. Make sure you cook them really well!

According to a Field & Stream article I read 30 years ago, WD-40 is an excellent fish attractant. :)

Now I know what your secret baits are. I thought that was what wives are for. Clean fishing plugs after dinner is prepared, the house is cleaned, clothes are washed, and the beds are made. Also clean the fish that are caught with those plugs. All of this should be in the wedding vows. My wife still can't get the hang of cleaning my deer yet.

I'll bet you can find a YouTube video on cleaning fish hooks and lures. If not, you can do one and make a little money on the side.

WOW !!!!!! What a relief !!! I was actually able to sit up and view those rusty barbs. I was getting tired having to drag my recliner over to my computer to view Spud's photos.
