I also find constant negativity and a lack of belief to be somewhat off putting. But I have found that some fans have an odd quirk about the way they root for a team. It’s somewhat superstitious, I believe. But some fans genuinely think that if they are over confident or overly positive it could somehow have an adverse effect on the game. I’m not certain where it comes from. Maybe at some point they were watching a game where Clemson was down or playing poorly, and they turned on the inevitable negativity. And low and behold, as unbelievable as it seemed, Clemson made a big turnaround and pulled off a victory. Not sure if that is what the OP is dealing with. But it is my drunken thought at the moment. Thanks for listening to me ramble. And I bid you good day.

We had a great first inning but couldn’t follow up on it. This early in the game isn’t about scoring runs but working pitch counts. After the first inning we had a great approach but now we let the starter off the hook.
