but this is my first trip to Boston. What are some must see or do things on Friday afternoon/night when we get there and also on Saturday prior to the game? Thanks in advance!

Whatever you do, take a bag of tea and dump it in the harbor when you get there. It is a tradition for first-timers

After you dump your tea in the harbor and if you have time, the Boston Aquarium is really cool.

If you have never visited Boston it probably would be a good idea to take one of the tours that are available to visit the harbor and historical districts. I hope the weather is good. More to see than you will likely have time for but it will be a great trip.

The walking tour along the Freedon Trail ...

Nov 6, 2018, 12:04 PM

is well worth the time. The Trail is 2.5 miles and can be walked at your own pace, takes you to 16 important sites ending (depending upon which way you walk it) at the USS Constitution and Bunker Hill
