In 2015 Saban pulled the onside kick because he knew couldn't give the ball back. The same thing happened last night with going for it on 4th at their own 35 in the first half and then the terrible fake field goal attempt. Simply amazing.

When he made that gamble in the first half, I started celebrating. I think in his heart, Dabo did, too.

The fans and media can believe in the old ship Alabama all they want, but if the captain doesn't trust her, the old ship is in peril, not because of his lack of belief, but because he knows her better than anyone else does.
