ACC TV NETWORK

I was driving today and listened awhile to some sporting talk shows, mostly about the Superbowl, but with some college discussion. There was some talk about ex-jocks trying to break into the media, talk radio, tv coverage and so forth.

In that discussion one of the talkers, whose name I do not recall reported he'd been on Mark Packer's show this morning. Guy said that next fall when the ACC NETWORK hits the airwaves Packer's Show will be renamed "ACC Central". One or two of the guys said they would be pairing up with Packer or some other media guy for spots. They joked about top billing and said "Packer is the Big Kahuna" and everyone else is down the food chain.

It might just talk but it will make sense if Packer becomes the Finebaum of the ACC NETWORK. He has a lot of connections. I like it that he's one of us, that his kids are Clemson students and so forth. No question that Clemson will be the Big Kahuna of the ACC Network during football season.

That was Wes Durham. He is co-host with Packer on XM's ACC
