Your state reps should go and serve their term and come home afterwards.
They shouldn’t be seeking re election, they should be representing their people during their term.
More legislating and less investigating.
Inb4 Benghazi and Russia. Both sides play that game and dodge doing what they should be and get paid big $$$$ to do so.

Nope. Congressional term limits can only come from one thing, an Article V convention of the states. If I were Trump, or any President, I'd be pounding that as an option. ONLY problem is it has never been done before. The second problem is keeping the amendment limited to JUST ONE issue. As far as I'm concerned, you could probably put two in (term limits and a balanced budget requirement). I'm pretty sure 38 states could go for those two, BUT NOTHING ELSE. Of those two, term limits is the more important one IMO.
Anyway, Congress will never do it. They did it for Presidential terms because the President does not have to sign off on a Constitutional amendment from Congress, the states do though. It's getting to a point where Article V is going to be necessary or we will collapse.

term limits would only embolden the Bureaucracy that is the federal government. Its the career alphabet agency heads that really wield the power. Just look at what the heads of the FBI and CIA did, or attempted to do to Trump.
What needs to happen is to hamstring the federal government and put it back in the box that was created in the constitution. Give the power back to the states.
