I think it's more of Taggart trying to recover from Jimbo. I have several friends and family in Tally and they're all Nole fans who all put it on the shoulders of Jimbo for fouling things up. For most of them, the jury is still out on Taggart, but they all liked his moving in letting Francois go, even if it means lessening the effectiveness of the offense.

I think this coming season will be a better measure of Taggart than last season was.

I have hope for Taggart yet... because Jimbo's divorce left half the recruits on top of is exwife.

So it is more: How many years will it take FSU to recover from Jimbo: twice as long as Miami

My, how the times have changed. Once upon a time, all three Florida schools were tremendous. Now, a fourth, UCF, might be the best. The 'Bama-Jawja-Clemson triangle is really the hub of FBS power now.
