Question about our D-line

I feel good about the tigers this year but its been hard to gauge the shape of our d-line. Sometimes i feel like like we are going to be better than some think and other times im a little worried. Anyone who knows more than i do have any idea how we are looking so far?

We got solid coaches but i hope we are not too thin or have many injuries.

The D line will be fine because we have the talent. The last time we had to rebuild we ended up with the Power Rangers. It is next man up time. What a time to be a Clemson fan!

If our DL performs at 90% of last year's unit we'll be fine. Considering our secondary the DL may not have to reach even that level.

Step 1: Win the first 3 games.

Step 2: CBV will figure things out over the next 9 games.

Step 3: By the time we get to the ACC title game and CFP (if injuries aren't an issue) all should be fine with the defense.

Personally, I think our DLine will not be a great as last year's DLine, because that might be impossible at the college level. But, I think our DLine will be as good as any other team's DLine in the country, and that's saying a lot.

Our offense will not get as many opportunities as last year due to the drop off of the D, but our O is so much better this year and will take more advantage of those fewer opportunities to score just as easily and often as last year.

Bottom line, the Ying-and-Yang effect has shifted from a stronger D to a stronger O, but the result is going to be the same as last year. We're good. :)

DL should be a touch worse vs the run. No way this DL will compare. I just hope they get better and better as the year goes on and I hope our LB's step it up.
