Who’s continued to add weight and grow into his body. 0% chance he finishes the year as a 3* barring injury. Talent was never the question for him, just needed to grow into his body.

He is already a 4* on 24/7. Rivals is not the end all and be all on recruit rankings. As far as I am concerned, if any one of the 3 major sites has a player at 4*, then he IS a 4*. Just because Rivals owns this site does not mean they know any more about the true worth of a recruit than ESPN or 24/7. The whole thing is a big fat guessing game.

Rivals is by far the most accurate. One a few who had DW4 a 5 star and smart enough to have TLaw start to finish the #1 recruit and openly stated it wasn’t close.
Problem with Parks was his weight. He’s put on good weight and will all but guarantee himself a 4th Star next evaluation.

This kid will be solid. He has room to grow.
All the comments so far support my position on recruiting.
Which is.
Sure, we need some bonified 4 & 5 star guys in each recruiting class. As difference makers.
But, but you can't be afraid to bring in a kid you believe in; who you believe can be better than the experts have him ranked.
Those(3 star and down) guys want to prove it more than the 4 and 5 star guys often times because they didn't the extra stars. Sometimes a 4 or 5 star is as good as they will ever be when they hit campus.
You have to have a team full of people who are pushing the starters. And a 3 star kid out to prove they were wrong about them just might do it.
That kid will likely get a year to just be a student-athlete w/o competing in games(RS). Which gives them time in a college weight/strength/conditioning program! Often, the physical measurable s is all that separated them from being elite.
