They also lose their color in the first rinse without even using detergent. I know bc I can't wear new clothing right out of the store bc of some chemical that is in them New. So I put everything new through a wash cycle. With my new Clemson gear, I've tried just rinsing them out before wearing, and putting them in an extra dry drying cycle to try and seal in the color, and that doesn't work either. After about the 3d-4th washing, they look older than some of the Tiger gear that I bought 10 years ago that has had many washings!!! The gear that is sold to us now is wayyyyy over priced JUNK!!!! And it doesn't matter who made it or sells it. The price goes up and up, the quality goes down, down, DOWN!!!

You might just need a new detergent or a different washing machine.
Nike frustration aside, my Nike apparel holds up really well.
