Ok, Trumpies. That's it. Party's over.

Specifically ClemsonTiger1988, bengaline, IneligibleUser, tigermaniac, Memphis, conservativealex (although I sometimes think you're just funnin'), et al.
It's done. It's over. With Mattis bailing and sending a polite "#### You" to the Trump admin over his irrational troop withdrawal to distract from his investigations, that's it.
You can't have it both ways. You all touted Mattis as the best of the best of Trump's admin. This man, who clearly has more true conservative integrity than anyone in his cabinet, has bailed off of this #### show. You know this is horrible news for this presidency. This president is unhinged and has put our national security at risk, and Mattis knows it. He's getting out while he can.
Y'all know it's over.
If Trump doesn't resign within the year, the GOP will dump him in 2020. Bookmark this post. Take a picture. IDGAF.

There is a Wall to build and a Space Force to create.
Which begs the question, if the Space Force has an an “Acadamy” to train officers ... will they be referred to as: Space Cadets OR Spaceship Men?

Yawn, been hearing "party's over" for 2 years nonstop, yet the train rolls on. Mattis is kind of a liberal anyway.

Who would want to work for him?

It's like placing a target on your head. Either you'll be harassed, blamed, or investigated for something.
On a more cerebral note, Trump is not of the Henry Kissinger "detente" mold, that much is obvious. Picking allies, and enemies, and working countries against others in a power chess match is something we've been doing for decades. But it only works well when we run the place. We don't anymore. Plus, the tendency for "the enemy of my enemy to be my friend" is something that almost inevitably backfires. Saddam Hussein, the Taliban, those are two good examples. Kissinger's diplomacy works as long as we are the top dog. China and Russia are now right on our heels, and as such the whole house of cards can fall, and probably will soon. China's President becoming President for life...that's worrying. Russia's moves in Syria and former republics are also worrying.
When we can go anywhere on Earth and stomp any mudhole into oblivion, that's fine. But when three countries play our game, it's going to stretch us too thin, which we already are.
I'm not saying Trump is right or wrong. I don't know his foreign policy really. It's certainly not based on globalism or detente. But Trump notwithstanding, things are changing that may lead to a big war, no matter who is President.

Trump is good at firing people (or running people off), but for such a successful businessman, he sure sucks at hiring people.

And I am bookmarking your post. I have disagreed with Trump on some things and certainly dislike many things about him, so I'm by no means a Trumpie. However, Trump's detractors and enemies have miscalculated and underestimated him from the get-go, and they continue to do so. They did not understand his appeal then, and they still don't have a clue. There is no writing on the wall, and his electability in 2020 depends on many things going forward ... in large part who could emerge as a potentential challenger from within the Republican party, and more importantly, whether or not Democrats wake up and come to terms with what happened in 2016, and find a candidate that doesn't repulse middle America.

Shall I write it down?
I'll bet you one year's P&R activities on this board that Trump will be the 20/20 nomination for the republican party in the POTUS election. That excludes Trump dying, losing his health or just getting fed up with the politics and deciding not to run on or before Jan 1, 2020.
You think about this and when you're ready to put one (1) year of your P&R life on the line please let me know.
This wager is exclusive to the P&R section of Tnet and will not limit the wagers use of other sections of Tigernet.com.
If these specifications and limits are not acceptable please feel free to counter with an offer which you believe to be more fair. I reserve the right to reject radical changes to this offer.

PS, anyone else who wants this bet is welcome to request a similar agreement though I will not agree to any agreement which requires me to serve more than one year off this board. Tigerbalm is excluded along with other board convicted welchers.

I made a 100 dollar bet with him on Obama's reelection back in 2012 and (bless his heart) the sumbich wouldn't let me pay him. I tortured him for an address, paypal account or any other method of paying him. When we got into another passionate argument about the success and failure of Trump's economic policies he finally agreed to another bet which addressed the GDP between Obama's and T's second year in office. The bar was pretty low for Trump but we'll see.
I expect to get straight with him when the next quarterly reports are released and I'v learned not to bet with him. Imo, there's only one thing worse than a man who won't pay a bet, that's a man who robs another of his integrity by not allowing him to pay a bet.
I just wasn't raise like that.

lol, I just wanted to express my intent to pay any debts owed here. I apologize, now I see how confusing my post was. I am way to passionate about betting. I suppose my reaction was similar to wind blowing through the hair on the arm that was burnt by fire or had the top layer of the skin damaged.
Yes, I'm way too sensitive and I'm laying the blame directly on Spooneye for making a welcher out of me. J/K, but I do so hate a welch.
