OT: Favorite restaurants in Clemson?

[1]

Where is your favorite place to eat in Clemson and what would you order? Of course your tailgating spot is probably your favorite, but I am asking more about restaurants.

House of Leung did not have a buffet....you must be thinking about Hibachi Grill.

IMO, Pixie and Bills, Tokyo and on a good night, Blue Heron.

Too many choices today. Breakfast - Waffle House (cant go wrong), Lunch - PAWS for the meat and 3 (3 people less the $20), and Dinner - Pixie and Bill's.

Back in the 70s - Capris, Chanellos, and for the pre hang over, 2 AM grease bomb - 123 Truck Stop (currently PAWS).

No votes for Sardi's Den, MY go to will always be Mac's, Man I miss the days I could wave at Mac and never had to order he already knew. As a student you always waited for Mac to go to the register

Mac would also sometimes give a break to students. If you did not have enough money to pay he would tell you to catch him the next time you came in and would feed you anyway.

This may be crazy but I am still a big fan of Western Sizzler in Clemson. Love the bake potato bar. About 7 years ago I saw Coach Dabo, his wife and kids in there eating on a Sunday afternoon.

I had a group of about 8-10 friends that would meet at Western Sizzlin after church on Sundays. My family has eaten there within the past week and it hasn't changed a bit, other than the prices keeping up with the times.

Blue Heron, Ramen & Sushi Burrito, BGR, TD's

Blue Heron: Entrees are expensive but sushi is the same price as other places. The Volcano and Dr. Jones rolls are my favorites, and they usually have a good steak roll special (I like Americanized sushi lol)

Ramen & SB: Newer place that opened after I graduated, but I LOVE ramen and theirs is really good. I get either the shrimp ramen or the super spicy one with ghost pepper oil (not as spicy as it sounds).

BGR: Expensive, but they're good. Wellington and parmesan garlic fries.

TD's: Anything with sour cream and chive fries. Come on now. Give me some.
