Noticed Clemson in 4 wides with Higgins and Ross on 1 side

and I think it was Renfrow and Rodgers on the other with Etienne in the backfield in the two Ross touchdowns before the half against ND. ND chose to give safety help to Higgins' man and leave Ross in one on one coverage. TD Ross!

The question is, who do you choose to provide help on in that 4 wide set?

Our back are going to have to pick up blitzing backers better in this game than we have all year. If our backs are sound in pass protection. We will win.

Either one long one or a couple of shorter ones, but he will get there. We showed against ND the price you pay in explosive plays down the field when you try to stop our run game.

If you try to force Trevor and our receivers to beat you, they will.

We’re going to have to run to keep the pass rush honest. They’re not going to abandon it altogether. But I don’t see us gashing them on the ground until maybe the 4th when they start to wear down

On the 1st one, Ross was wide right w/Higgins in the slot.

On the 2nd one, Ross was in the slot and Higgins was out wide. On both, Renfrow and Rodgers were wide left. On one, Etienne released into the flats on a route. On the other, Choice did the same to pull a linebacker with them. (Does Bama think they can blitz that linebacker that would be covering the back in the flats?)

On the Higgins catch with 9 seconds in the half, Higgins is all alone on the right side with Ross, Renfrow and Rodgers all wide left.

What's a safety to do?
